This record consists of improvisational jams recorded live at the legendary Zebulon in LA, given the ol dub-out and mix-down into a proper psychedelic rock record. It could be called the culmination of GROOPs three year long residency at the prestigious venue, but I prefer to think of this as the tip of the iceberg for one of the West Coasts most collectively talented young psych bands. I could certainly go for more of these tasty space rock jams.

It’s also worth noting the group features members of blog favorites Hooveriii and much like that project, this record has thick riffs and rhythms you can sink your teeth into paired with smart, spacious jams. Another reminder that the LA garage/psych scene has more jam power under the hood than a casual listener might expect.
