I’ll even say that it clearly establishes Pedigo as not just a brilliant guitarist or exceptional experimentalist but a new master of American instrumental music. The constant comparison to Fahey is not just a genre descriptor that’s widely applied to acoustic guitarists. Pedigo is a new Americana genius himself, he is to Fahey as Bela Fleck is to Earl Scruggs. He stands on the shoulders of giants and genuinely reaches new heights. Don’t count the new pantheon of Americana virtuosos without Hayden Pedigo, and don’t miss this record.
