On this new record “Goodbye Till I Do Good By You” Blaine Todd dives headfirst into cosmic country taking a half step back from his earlier more ambient Americana vibes, and sets a new high-water mark for the genre.

The Blaine Todd sound is higher and more lonesome than the rest. The lyricism possesses the thoughtfulness that can only come from long hours spent in the saddle, alone on the range- or from reading lots of literature and having lots of feelings. The point is it’s poignant, with wise words aplenty and the Waylon Jennings-meets-Henry Flynt jams to send them soaring. This record will get you country swinging and then leave you spaced out like sleeping under the stars. Don’t miss it.
