DAIISTAR is a great Austin TX band I’ve seen at two different psych fests- Levitation (sharing a stage with Slift) and Freakout! (sharing a stage with Acid Mother’s Temple.) Both sets were excellent and checking out their newest did not disappoint.

Psychedelic pop/rock with huge shoegaze/dreampop influences and fuzzed out solos reminiscent of great garage/groove punk. It’s lovely stuff that’s upbeat with great vibes. They are killer performers and like the album, the sets go a number of ways from heavier and noiser to a catchy UK rock sound.
