There’s unlikely to be a finer krautrock adjacent album in 2023 than this Peruvian bands sophomore album. It’s absolutely fantastic, wholly original and extremely psychedelic. There are great electric and acoustic passages, field recordings and a big emotional range all in just 40 minutes of mostly instrumental rock. The rootsy moments are authentic and full of life and the intense space rock is genuinely otherworldly.

Even (or especially) it’s most spaced out and high volume the music and playing is thoughtful and beautiful. Their sound is extremely pleasing from the first track and is progressive without being challenging to enjoy in the conventional sense. There’s a nice mix of relaxing and exhilarating moments that help the listener settle into and enjoy a long journey. In short, the record is a really good trip.

Buh Records has put out another amazing work. The recording and mix quality is stellar and the tones everyone achieves are just amazing. I’m eagerly awaiting a physical copy. Do not miss this fantastic release.
