Another record in a long, long line of immersive and experimental sound collages by the multi hyphenate artist Gonçalo F. Cardoso. This is a particularly polished double LP of wonderful music made from all kinds of field recordings, samples, acoustic and electronic instrumentation,  and experimental techniques. It comes together with very detailed and thoughtful composition and mixing that might surpass most of his previous works.

A lot of his music has been akin to portraiture of real or imaginary places. This record is a little less conceptual and a little more musical and it makes a great entry point into his discography. Fans of experimental sound collage will love this album, as will library music fans looking for something a little deconstructed or ambient music seekers looking for something deeply organic and alive.
