The latest from this psych duo-turned-trio is anither easy, heady winner. Electronic maestro Nicolas Jaar gets all his rock and jam tendencies out in this project with longtime collaborator (and rising guitar star) Dave Harrington, joined more recently by percussionist Tlacael Esparza.

This record continues to demonstrate their signature electronic rock/pop sound with incredible dexterity and taste. Likely due to the increased influences of Esparza this record is more rhythmically interesting than their previous work. DARKSIDE is a very accessible project that’s in line with the modern neopsych sound but still has its own strong character and I highly recommend giving it a listen.
