Some of the most exciting heavy psych coming out of the United States Pacific Northwest. The early 2020s have been hot for Spoon Benders, with a slew of well received tours and festival appearances that made this a hotly anticipated album for many.

The record is high volume without being blown out or fatiguing. The punk is there but classic heavy psych rock fans will still really enjoy it. Overall it’s a heady head-banger more than an uptempo mosh pit inducer. The emotional punk rock edge keeps it a bit more exciting and just generally alive sounding than other riff worshiping stoner albums. Definitely check it out and catch the hard working band on an inevitable upcoming tour.
