The Brazilian woodwind wizard and his group (all talented multi instrumentalists) present an amazing and often surprising work of jazz/folk fusion.

Perhaps best known as a disciple of the great Hermeto Pascoal and a member of his group, Jota places his work in the same unique genre as his mentor- “Universal Music.” Expect improvisation heavy tunes with no limits and equal attention paid to the musical traditions of the worlds villages as well as its conservatories.
