I’m loving this fantastic and incredibly stoned slab of a record from the UKs Pigs x7.

This one packs enough heavy psych/krautrock influence to keep you firmly on the edge of your seat where other stoner records might lul you into a deep hash-dream. The songwriting and tone are really great (and grim) across all 8 tracks and the 40 min runtime feels perfect. Land of Sleeper is complete meal for your heaviest and headiest cravings but doesn’t outstay it’s welcome or put all its energy into a particular track. Other heavy psych bands could take some notes from these guys. Excellent stuff!
