Great cosmic country that’s warm and folksy in the PNW tradition. Lots of instrumental space but nice vocal cuts too and always very melodic. His voice and delivery reminds me of Gun Outfit, or maybe a subdued David Berman. It’s a little too jammy to call ambient but it would still be a great record to make some art or sleep to. Barry Walker Jrs pedal steel makes a huge impression, just like it does on that years Rose City Band record. Don’t miss this if you’re at all a fan of Americana or laid back jams.
