A delicate and meditative album that carries plenty of weight behind it. Super tender, increadibly beautiful. Absolutely one of the best albums of the year.

Some of you may know her from the band/collective GNOD, who has made unmatched sonic destruction as one of the premier noise rock/electronic/experimental groups in the world. This hits just as hard as any of their work but is more akin to the psych-dream-pop of Beach House. Ribeiro adopts less of a neoclassical/contemporary pop tone, instead touching on sounds of MPB and folk music among others.

Theres found sounds and field recordings present, and just amazingly recorded acoustic instruments of all kinds mix with walls of reverb and electronic effects. Like the very finest dream pop, a talented ear and skilled production ties it all together into such a seamless and instantly appealing bundle.
