A diverse and gorgeous album of experimental/traditional music from all corners of the UK. Though they’re a 9 piece group the record is pretty sparse, with lovely passages of drone and acappella. Not quite as sombre as I was expecting but rather full of life. Field recordings are plentiful and the instrumentation is diverse. I really enjoy it and I hope they do another US tour.
